5 years agoNew York Jets tight end Ryan Griffin made six catches for 50 yards in a loss to the Dolphins Sunday. It could have been an even bigger day for the veteran tight end, but an apparent touchdown catch towards the end of the first half was overturned when replay revealed the ball moved a bit when Griffin was falling to the ground in the back of the end zone. Still, the six catches are a season-high for Griffin as he's been productive lately with starter Chris Herndon (hamstring) unable to return to game action. Herndon has been practicing on a limited basis and was active today so Griffin won't have much fantasy value going forward, but he may have played well enough to torpedo any potential value Herndon may have upon his return.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
