Robby Anderson A Non-Factor In Miami
5 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught two of four targets for 33 scoreless yards in a loss to the Dolphins Sunday. It was a disappointing game for the big-play receiver in a good matchup vs one of the NFL's worst secondaries as the Jets could get nothing going downfield. Anderson had one wide-open opportunity for a long touchdown but quarterback Sam Darnold missed him. Other than that play, Darnold didn't give Anderson many looks as Darnold was under pressure all afternoon and was content to check down to RB Le'Veon Bell and slot receiver Jamison Crowder. Anderson is good when he makes the big play but the Jets simply don't take enough downfield shots for fantasy owners to trust Anderson as more than a boom-or-bust WR3.
