Kenny Golladay Stays Hot In Week 9 Loss
5 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay hauled in four of seven targets for 132 yards and one touchdown in the Lions loss to the Raiders in Week 9. Golladay and the Lions passing attack have been red-hot since Kerryon Johnson (knee) was placed on Injured Reserve, and it doesn't look like that will be changing any time soon. Golladay did see six fewer targets than Marvin Jones, but those kinds of weeks are to be expected here and there. Golladay broke free down the sideline for a 59-yard touchdown in the second quarter, putting him on pace for 14 scores on the season. The Lions may have a tougher time moving the ball through the air in Week 10 when they travel to Chicago to face the Bears, but you can bet they'll try. Golladay will slot in as a high-end WR2 in that matchup.
