Jets Defense Struggles Versus Dolphins
5 years agoThe New York Jets Defense was picked apart by Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins in a 26-18 loss in Miami. The Jets picked up four sacks and a safety, thanks to a fumbled snap at the one-yard line, but failed to force a turnover and gave up big plays all day long. To make matters worse for New York, star safety Jamal Adams left late in the fourth quarter with an apparent head injury, but cleared the concussion protocol. The Jets defense is already without multiple starters and just traded defensive lineman Leonard Williams so there's not much to get excited about with this unit. If they couldn't be usable vs Miami they are best left on waivers in all formats.
