Le'Veon Bell Scores To Salvage Fantasy Day
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell rushed 18 times for only 34 yards and made four catches for an additional 34 yards in a win over the Giants Sunday. He could get nothing going on the ground today consistently getting hit in the backfield playing behind a decimated offensive line. However, Bell was able to salvage fantasy production with a 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter after defensive pass interference in the end zone set the Jets up at the goal line. Bell owners should monitor his usage going forward as Bilal Powell had seven carries in the game and Bell was sitting out some offensive series. With the Jets out of playoff contention, it's fair to wonder how hard they work Bell down the stretch, but he should still see enough volume to put up high-end RB2 numbers moving forward.
