Marvin Jones Goes For 77 Yards In Lions Loss
5 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones was able to haul in five catches for 77 yards against the Bears in Week 10. The Lions were forced to start backup quarterback Jeff Driskel, but that didn't prove to be a problem as he showed surprising chemistry with Jones at various points throughout the game. Jones wasn't able to find the endzone in this one, but he has been on an absolute tear since Kerryon Johnson (knee) was placed on IR and is currently on pace for a 1000-yard season. Jones' value shouldn't take a massive hit if Driskel is forced to start in Week 11 against the Cowboys. The veteran wide receiver will slot in as a WR3 for that matchup if that turns out to be the case.
