ANALYSIS: It's time to talk about risk.
Allen Hurns is a huge, huge risk this week, and the reward isn't sky high. A lot of people won't want to take that risk.
But the Dolphins are throwing a lot, and Hurns still has a good ceiling based on his ability to potentially find the end zone and his increased target share.
Hurns scored in Week 12, catching four of his seven targets for 42 yards and his second touchdown of the season. He's been targeted 17 times in the last three games and the Dolphins extended his contract, so it's clear they see him as part of their current and future plans. What also suggests that: a snap rate of 87 percent or better in all three of those games.
Of course, 53 yards is his highest total of the year, so you're betting on Hurns to score another touchdown if you play him against Philadelphia. Will you do it?
I don't know. Maybe! In deeper leagues, a guy who's getting seven targets is worth exploring.
