Fantasy Basketball - Dynasty Rundown for Week 6

Welcome to RotoBaller's weekly dynasty league rundown! Dynasty leagues are becoming more and more popular, and we're here to keep you ahead of the game.

Each week, we'll touch on topics and players that may not necessarily be relevant in single-year formats, but they can make a splash in keeper leagues.

With that being said, let's look at the dynasty rundown for Week 6.

Guards

Jarrett Culver, Minnesota Timberwolves

It has been a rough start for the sixth overall pick this season as he's shooting 36.7 percent from the floor and 27.7 percent from three. He started at point guard Monday and had 14 points, five boards, three assists and two steals in 24 minutes. He still shot 4-for-11 (36.1 percent) from the floor, but he has scored in double figures in six of seven games. Culver is likely owned in most dynasty formats, but he might be someone you can buy low on after his frigid start.

Markelle Fultz, Orlando Magic

The former No. 1 overall pick has shown a spark in recent days scoring in double figures in five straight games. The problem with Fultz is he doesn't shoot the three well at 18.8 percent, and he's only averaging 3.5 assists and 2.2 boards to go with his 11.1 points per game. There is still a lot of room to grow, and he's having his first bit of success with virtually no threat to take his job. If he's available, pick him up and keep your fingers crossed.

Forwards

Davis Bertans, Washington Wizards

The 27-year-old journeyman had a career week last week with 17 points, 6.8 boards, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He's shooting 44.3 percent from distance on the season, and he's playing starter minutes right now. He might not fit the bill as a keeper, but he is definitely someone under the radar that should be picked up in the event that we're seeing a late-bloomer blossoming.

Marquese Chriss, Golden State Warriors

It seems like an eternity ago that Chriss was the eighth overall pick in 2016. He just never put it together. After bouncing around, he landed on the injury-depleted Warriors, and he has thrived in the system. He's averaging 10.8 points, 5.4 boards, 3.4 assists and two blocks per game over the last five games. Did the Warriors just strike gold again? He should be out there in quite a few leagues and is worth picking up to see if the aforementioned is true.

Centers

Mohamed Bamba, Orlando Magic

The 2018 lottery pick hasn't done much in his young career, but he made a little noise in his last three games. Bamba averaged six points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game in the stretch. He's very limited offensively, but he can stack up boards and blocks. The Magic are without center Nikola Vucevic (ankle) and power forward Aaron Gordon (ankle) for at least a couple of weeks. That should give Bamba an extended window to show what he can do. If he's hovering on waivers, keep an eye on him.

Dario Saric, Phoenix Suns

Saric is kind of an honorable mention here because there isn't a lot to go on. However, he busted out with 18 points and 17 boards Sunday in a career game. The Suns are without the suspended Deandre Ayton and Aron Baynes (hip), which leaves the door wide open for Saric. He's worth speculatively owning right now, but the 25-year-old could enter the keeper fold if he seizes this opportunity.
