5 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin scored twice and added three assists during a wild 8-6 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday evening. Two of Malkin's points came on the power play, and he also fired six shots on net in the contest. The lumbering Russian pivot has stepped up with Sidney Crosby (hernia) sidelined, as he has tallied 12 points in his past six games. Malkin is easily one of the most talented players in the entire league, and he will continue to spearhead the Penguins attack.
