DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Guards
Markus Howard - G, Marquette (DraftKings $8,900)
After shooting under 40% from the field to start the season, Markus Howard has turned it up to level 11 these last two games. In two games, Howard has combined for 110 fantasy points on 91 points, six rebounds, four assists, and a steal. There is no way I can fade Markus Howard when he's shooting the ball like this. It's going to be a phenomenal game against Maryland and Howard should have a usage in the 50%'s. He's expensive, but we've seen guys a lot more pricey this year without the ceiling Howard has.
Jermaine Haley - G, West Virginia (DraftKings $7,500)
West Virginia is facing off with Rhode Island, who likes to run and play at the eighth-fastest pace in the league. There are four or five WVU players worth considering and don’t be worried if you have two or three in one lineup. They’re getting a bunch of extra possessions and should put up 80 points. Jermaine Haley is too cheap on DraftKings for a guy that can put up 40 fantasy points in any game. He stuffs the stat sheet and can score 30 real-life points.
Consider - Fatts Russell, Nate Pierre Louis, Jeff Dowtin
DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Forwards
Oscar Tshiebwe - F, West Virginia (DraftKings $7,000)
Tshiebwe has been very boom or bust, but it’s hard not to love him in a fast-paced match-up with Rhode Island. Tshiebwe and Markus Howard have the highest ceilings on the entire slate and Tshiebwe isn’t priced like it. He should be popular, but I’m going to roll with the chalk and hope we see another 40+ fantasy points.
Jaiden Delaire - F, Stanford (DraftKings $4,600)
UNCW has some real size, so Jaiden Delaire should be playing on the upper end of his minutes range. Likely about 25-27. He’s priced down and has averaged a fantasy point per minute on the season. UNCW isn’t anything to be afraid of on the defensive front and Delaire should have plenty of success in the paint.
Consider - Jalen Smith, J.P. Moorman II, Brendan Bailey
