Terry McLaurin Struggling In Hopeless Passing Game
5 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Terry McLaurin hauled in just two catches for eight yards on four targets in Sunday's win over the Panthers. While his lack of production in Week 13 can easily be attributed to the success Washington had in the running game, the much more glaring issue burdening McLaurin's fantasy value is his team's near total inability to get anything going through the air. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins has completed just over 50% of his passes in the Redskins' last three games, and his already suspect group of pass-catchers have been rendered fantasy afterthoughts as a result. McLaurin has suffered the most, as he opened the season as one of the league's pleasant surprises. His investors will need to continue to weather the peaks and valleys inherent in rostering a talented WR who is routinely being held back by his own team.
