BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 14% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: You might not believe me, but in the last three weeks Anthony Miller has out-targeted no. 1 Bears receiver Allen Robinson 33 to 28. Fantasy football is all about opportunities, and that is why this little fact is reason enough to trust Miller in this offense. If you want more appealing numbers, though, Miller also has them: he has 271 yards on 21 receptions in that span while Robinson has 232 on 18 (to go with two touchdowns, though).
Mitchell Trubisky’s late improvement has boosted every Bears receiver, from Miller to Robinson to even Taylor Gabriel (missed last week’s game). Miller has now reached 11 or more fantasy points in his last three games and in fact, he had a season-best 23 FP in his last outing against Detroit on Thanksgiving. He put on a massive performance by catching nine of his 13 (!) targets for 140 yards. The only thing Miller has to accomplish this season is to finally get the ball to the paint with him, as he has yet to score a touchdown.
No matter the lack of scores, Miller’s late exploits make him a must-add in almost every league, let alone deeper ones. He’s seen more targets (33) than any receiver in the league other than Julian Edelman (34) and D.J. Moore (36) in the last three weeks combined and he’s got the fifth-most receiving yards in that span. Again, luck hasn’t been on his side when it comes to scoring, but that is an extra that can only raise his ceiling.
Don’t hesitate and add Miller to your roster as soon as you can. He’s a potential league winner and although Chicago isn’t the most promising of real-life offenses in the league Miller is Trubisky’s go-to option now. Must-add and must-start at least as a flex play in any of the playoffs weeks considering his usage and performance levels.
