NBA DFS Prop Picks for 12/3/19 - Monkey Knife Fight

Last night was, well, interesting. For starters, Aron Baynes sat with his injury after playing 25 minutes the game prior, so he must have re-aggravated something. On the positive side, Ricky Rubio crushed his assist line and Donovan Mitchell came no where close to 25 points. Solid! Unfortunately Buddy Hield couldn't hit that fourth three pointer despite taking 13 shots... He ended up at three makes again!

Lastly, I have to apologize for my mix-up with Trae Young. My intention was to recommend the UNDER on 9.5 assists. Looking back, I had actually written OVER. There's no excuse for that, and hopefully I didn't mislead anyone with that typo. The bright side is that my blurb on Young clearly sided with the under on the assist line, so hopefully you read enough of that paragraph to catch my mistake. If not, hit me up on Twitter at the handle below and I'll make it up to you somehow.

So, if you'd be so kind to give me the Young call, I believe I went 3-for-4 last night with a push on Baynes. Let's try to sweep tonight on this seven-game slate!

You can follow me on Twitter @BellRoto. This is a great time for NBA content as Christmas time rolls around. If you have more questions about these prop bets or other NBA DFS situations, hit me up throughout the day on Twitter. Let’s do it!

Evan Fournier (ORL) OVER 19.5 Points

Fournier has seen a nice usage spike since Nikola Vucevic has left the Magic rotation with an injury. Vuc remains out on Tuesday, and Orlando sees a massive implied spike of over 12 points compared to their season average since they're playing the run-and-gun Wizards. Fournier is a great shooter who loves to let go from deep, gets to the line well, and is great in transition. This is a perfect game for him to drop at least 20 points tonight.

Andre Drummond (DET) OVER 15.5 Rebounds

This one's pretty simple. We have to go back six games to find the last time Drummond didn't hit the 16-rebound mark... And he had 15 boards in that one. He should be able to roam around the rim as much as he wants covering Tristan Thompson tonight. Let's roll with the trend.

Brandon Ingram (NO) OVER 6.5 Rebounds

Since returning from injury, Ingram has collected at least seven rebounds in 6-of-7 games. With a high total/low spread game on tap againts Dallas, I don't see that trend stopping tonight. After all, he collected eight rebounds in just 31 minutes last time he faced the Mavs. The long forward will be surely scoop enough boards to surpass this line tonight.

James Harden (HOU) UNDER 37.5 Points

I am projecting LaMarcus Aldridge to be out again tonight, and even if he was in, I don't think this game will be all that close of a contest. Because of that, I don't think Harden will need to enter his takeover mode where he pulls off consecutive step-back three pointers and countless trips to the free throw line towards the end of each half. Before his 60-point effort last time out, he hadn't reached 38 points in five straight games. It's just a high number! Especially when your team is winning handily. I'll take the under here and hope for a blowout.

Nikola Jokic (DEN) Rebounds vs. LeBron James (LAL) [+3.5]

Jokic has really turned it up a notch on the glass lately, corralling at least 10 rebounds in each of his last five games, with 16 and 20 board games in there. James, on the other hand, has only had more than six rebounds once in his last six contests. If I modestly project Jokic for 12ish rebounds, I think we can safely put LeBron at eight or less boards. The King's lines are always inflated, so let's take advantage here.
