Ryan Miller Backstops Ducks To Victory On Monday
5 years agoAnaheim Ducks goaltender Ryan Miller stopped 34 of the 36 shots that came his way during Monday's 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings. He was particularly sharp in the third period while the Ducks were clinging to a one-goal lead. The veteran netminder has had mixed results this season. He owns a 4-1-2 record to go along with a 2.99 goals-against average and .906 save percentage. John Gibson is still the workhorse in Anaheim, and Miller is nothing more than streaming fodder against weaker opponents. Expect Gibson to get the start for the Ducks next game on Friday versus the Washington Capitals
