Le'Veon Bell A Volume-Based RB2
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell is recovered from his illness and will suit up for the Jets Thursday in Baltimore. Bell missed the Jets Week 14 win with the flu, but has been a full participant in practice and should be good to go Thursday. Running lanes will be hard to come by against a stout Ravens Defense that gives up the fourth-fewest points to opposing running backs, but Bell won't have to split carries with Bilal Powell (ankle, illness) and Ty Montgomery (foot, hip) doubtful and questionable respectively. Fantasy owners who used an early pick on Bell have been disappointed this season, but would be hard-pressed to find a spare back with 20-plus touch upside. Start Bell as an RB2 and hope he bowls his way into the end zone as he's yet to have a 100-yard day this season.
