5 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow has been ruled out for Sunday’s contest versus the Jacksonville Jaguars due to an injury to his ribs. Renfrow will now be out of the mix for a third consecutive week, paving the way for Tyrell Williams to once again be Oakland’s top wideout, but also clearing the way for Darren Waller to become quarterback Derek Carr’s favorite target. Renfrow’s role in the Oakland offense had been growing prior to his injury, but he will need at least another week before he can suit up. His next chance at returning comes next Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, whom he snagged four receptions for 42 yards against back in Week 10.--Jesse Borek
