Evan Engram Sent To IR
5 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram's season has come to an end after the team sent him to the IR with a foot sprain. It's a crushing blow as injuries have continued to plague the talented tight end. After playing in 15 games his rookie year, he missed five games last year and will finish with only eight games played this year. He has elite ability but needs to prove that he can stay on the field to make the most of it. Considering the Giants activated a wide receiver, David Sills V, to take his place on the roster and not a tight end, it's possible that Rhett Ellison (concussion) will be back in time for the Redskins game and would become a mid-tier TE2.
