Travis Konecny, Philly Embarrass Buffalo 6-1
5 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny had three helpers in a 6-1 defeat of the Buffalo Sabres. He now has eight points in his last six games. With 32 points in 32 games, Konecny is now on pace to shatter his career-high in points which was set last season at 49. James van Riemsdyk had two goals, and after a disappointing start to the year now has seven points in his last six games. Kevin Hayes and Sean Couturier each had two assists. Couturier has five points in his last three games. Matt Niskanen had a goal and an assist. Buffalo managed just 17 shots on net with Philly goaltender Carter Hart turning aside 16 of them. Victor Olofsson scored the lone goal for Buffalo and is on pace for 30 goals and 60 points in his rookie campaign. Young defenseman Rasmus Dahlin recorded an assist and has five points in his four games since returning from an injury.
