5 years agoConnor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl paced the Oilers’ offense yet again in Saturday night’s 4-3 win over the Montreal Canadiens. Both players had a goal and an assist. With five shots on net, it was the first time since mid-November that the pass-first McDavid had peppered a goalie with more than four attempts. He now has 21 goals and 61 points in 39 games. Draisaitl owns the slight edge in goals at 22 but is short on points at 60. Josh Archibald also had a goal and an assist. That offensive outburst doubled his points total on the year to four. He’s been a human-wrecking-ball lately with 13 hits in his last two games, which gives him 78 through 30 contests. Montreal defenseman Jeff Petry had a strong effort in the losing cause with a goal and three points. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
