Edwin Encarnacion Signs With White Sox
5 years agoThe Chicago White Sox have signed first baseman/designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion to a one-year, $12 million contract that includes a club option for $12 million in 2021. The White Sox struggled mightily to find production out of their designated hitter spot in 2019. Encarnacion hit .244 with 34 home runs and 86 RBI in 109 games that were split between the Mariners and Yankees. The White Sox have an underrated lineup that Encarnacion will be in the middle of and the slugger should also benefit from his new home park. The slugger will once again be a good power source for fantasy owners.
