5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson will look to close out the 2019 season on a high note against the Cowboys in Week 17. The veteran has scored a touchdown in four straight games, and has routinely seen a touch count well into double digits when he's been the lead running back for the Redskins. The Cowboys represent a relatively difficult matchup for running backs, holding the position to 4.1 yards per carry on the season. Peterson's value stems from having the lion's share of his team's rushing workload, and he should once again be in line for enough of it to warrant flex consideration with a touchdown-driven ceiling.--Chris O'Reilly
