5 years agoChicago Bears kicker Eddy Pineiro drilled all four of his field goal attempts, including a game-winning field goal, in the Bears 21-19 win over the Vikings. Kicking indoors, Pineiro kicked with confidence to end his inconsistent first season on a high note. Piniero finishes the season 23 of 28 on field goal attempts but questions remain about his long-term future as the team's kicker. Pineiro nailed a 52-yard game-winner against the Broncos in Week 2 but missed a 38-yarder against the Chargers in Week 8 that cost the team the game. In addition, it seemed that coach Matt Nagy lacked confidence in his kicker from beyond 40 yards as the season went on. Pineiro will need to make some serious strides in the offseason if he hopes to stick with the team long-term.--Joey C - RotoBaller
