5 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray totaled 61 rushing yards on 17 attempts and caught his lone target for 14 receiving yards in a 42-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. Murray's 17 carries were his third-most of the year and came as a result of the Saints blowing the game open and resting their starters in the third quarter. It would have been nice to see Murray find the end zone, though he still did enough to put together his best game since Week 14. He and the Saints will await the winner of tonight's Seahawks-49ers matchup to determine if they get a first-round bye or not.--Tim Capurso
