Benny Snell Jr. Rushes For A Touchdown In Loss
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Benny Snell Jr. logged 91 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Ravens. With rain soaking M&T Bank Stadium, quarterback Devlin Hodges, who threw just 95 yards, leaned heavily on Snell, who recorded 18 attempts, which was his second-best effort of the year. The 21-year-old had his number called often this season in the absence of the injury-plagued James Conner (shoulder/quadriceps) and finished with 426 yards on the ground, good for second on the team behind Conner, who had 464. With the Steelers having some work to do on both ends of the football, his role for next season is unknown at this time, with more being revealed during this upcoming offseason.
