5 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns scored the game-winning goal and added an assist during Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The lumbering rearguard tallied three shots on goal and two hits in 24:19 of ice time. Burns has had an adequate offensive season, but it pales in comparison to his regular offensive totals. The 34-year-old has seven goals, 21 assists, and 11 power-play points through 42 games this season.
