Welcome to NBA Sunday! With most eyes pointed towards the NFL, we have plenty of money to make over here on the hardwood.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/5/20. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks.
We have just four games on the main slate, but there is plenty to look at across the board. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before line-up lock. Let's dive right in!

DraftKings DFS Guards
Devin Booker - PG/SG, PHO @ MEM ($8.200)
Devin Booker is a man on fire right now and this match-up with the Memphis Grizzlies couldn't be better. They play at one of the league's fastest paces and don't have anyone at the rim to slow anyone down. Devin Booker has taken a bigger role on this offense of late and you can bet he's going to drop another 40+ fantasy points in this match-up. I'm a fan in both cash games and tournaments. Dillon Brooks has no shot of slowing Booker down and I don't want to be left behind by the 50% or so that will own Booker.
Kendrick Nunn - PG/SG, MIA vs. POR ($4,500)
Kendrick Nunn is just a bit too cheap on this slate on DraftKings. Against the Blazers, Nunn is going to be firing away. The Blazers are one of the more guard-heavy teams in basketball and I expect both teams to play some three-guard sets. Nunn should get back over 28 minutes in this game and 25-30 fantasy points will follow. Nunn is a safe cash game bet and his upside is always there in tournaments if he gets hot from three.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Anthony Davis - PF/C, LAL vs. DET ($10,900)
If I'm paying up for one player on this slate, it's Anthony Davis. The Pistons aren't equipped with the tools to slow him down and the big man has been as consistent as ever recently. The price is down under $11k on FanDuel and it gives Davis a lot more upside than he typically has when priced up. Andre Drummond is a great rebounder, but he obviously doesn't have the athleticism to stick with Anthony Davis in the paint and certainly not on the perimeter. There isn't a ton to pay up for on this slate and Anthony Davis will be in every lineup of mine.
Alfonzo McKinnie - SF/PF, CLE vs. MIN ($3,000)
McKinnie isn't exciting, but he's min-priced on DraftKings and played 28 minutes last game. If he sees that again against the Timberwolves, it'll be tough to miss value. McKinnie doesn't just stand in the corner, either, as a guy that can get involved and even hot from the three-point line. The T-Wolves play fast and give up a ton of peripherals, which is where McKinnie thrives. I like the spot and the price is hard to argue with.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Tristan Thompson - C, CLE vs. MIN ($6,000)
The price on Tristan Thompson is too low on DK. He's had three tough match-ups in a row and his price has dipped as a result. The Timberwolves are one of the best match-ups in the league for rebounding centers and that's whether KAT is in or not. Thompson can be locked in for the double-double tonight and I wouldn't be shocked if he approaches 35 fantasy points. For $6k, yes please.
