5 years agoTampa Bay Lightning forward Carter Verhaeghe scored his first career hat trick in Tuesday's huge 9-2 win over Vancouver. Brayden Point had a four-point night (one goal, three assists) and Steven Stamkos notched three points (one goal, two assists) as the Bolts matched a franchise record for most goals in a game. Verhaeghe is averaging less than 10 minutes per night for Tampa, so don't expect him to repeat his Tuesday's performance any time soon, but he does have a bit of momentum right now with a three-game point streak.
