5 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers right wing Kevin Hayes was the hero of the night on Wednesday, scoring a short-handed goal to win it 3-2 against Washington. Travis Konecny and Robert Hagg also scored for Philly, who ended a four-game losing streak. Hayes also led the team with four shots and delivered two hits. The 27-year-old winger had a pretty rough start to the season, but he's been in fine form since the middle of November, going pointless in consecutive games just twice.
