BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 35% of leagues
ANALYSIS: It's about damn time. Finally, after three months off basketball courts, Reggie Jackson made it back to one. It happened on Jan. 22 and Jackson seemed to not have lost any single bit of his hoops knowledge. On just 19 minutes of playing time off the bench, he dropped 22 on the Kings and stuffed the box score from left to right adding three boards, four assists, and two steals to those points. He shot a great 57.1% from the floor on a healthy 14 attempts and his 37.5 usage rate was massive, to say the least.
Jackson's second game for Detroit after coming back wasn't that explosive (14-3-6-2) but the minutes went up to 23 and they will only keep growing, plus he already took on the starting-PG role. Jackson's numbers this season are virtually non-existent, but looking at last season stats we can expect Jax to be on the 15-5 average line nightly with some good shooting percentages from everywhere on the court.
The most interesting thing about picking up Jackson now if you have a hole to fill in your team is that anything can happen to/around him. Detroit might move Andre Drummond and Derrick Rose, and that will 1) give him more responsibilities as a whole and 2) definitely hand him all of the leading duties on offense if Rose ultimately leaves for good. Even if Detroit's roster stays the same, Reggie should be one of its best players going forward so he should be a no-brainer addition in any league.
