5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida will likely be a third option in the running game during the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite an attractive matchup against the 29th-ranked Chiefs rush defense by DVOA, Breida has garnered just nine touches in two playoff games. While he averaged a crisp 5.1 yards per carry during the regular season, Breida was rarely the lead back and was not utilized in the red zone.
