5 years agoDallas Stars center Joe Pavelski scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's matchup against New Jersey, netting his ninth goal of the season 1:39 into overtime. Mattias Janmark, Esa Lindell assisted him on the play. Jason Dickinson and Joel Kiviranta also scored for the Stars in a 3-2 win. The latter celebrated his first career goal. Pavelski has struggled to adapt to life in Texas, managing only 20 points in 51 games so far. He had picked only one point in eight outings ahead of Saturday. It's been a season full of droughts for Pavelski, but the team is playing well and he'll be a great asset for them come playoff time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
