Raheem Mostert Hits Paydirt In Super Bowl
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert handled 12 carries for 58 yards and a touchdown in the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He also caught a pass for two yards. Mostert again manned the backfield, out touching Tevin Coleman 12 to five. Mostert ripped a handful of his typical long gains but came nowhere near his four-touchdown eruption in the NFC Championship. His score came on a one-yard third quarter plunge. After a breakout regular season with 952 scrimmage yards, 10 touchdowns and a spectacular playoff run, Mostert should be the favorite to lead the Niners backfield in 2020. However, due to the Niners structure rushing committee, he’ll likely enter fantasy drafts as a mid-tier RB2.
