Tevin Coleman Vanishes In Second Half
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman rushed for 28 yards on five totes and caught a three-yard pass in the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. Coleman received the nominal start and ripped a 17-yard carry to jolt the offense early on, but he barely scratched the field after halftime as the Niners leaned on Raheem Mostert. As was typical down the stretch, game flow benefited Mostert as the Niners held the lead in the second half before losing in the final minutes. After signing with the Niners last offseason, Coleman amassed 724 scrimmage yards while dealing with inconsistency and injuries. He’ll probably enter 2020 with a shot to lead the backfield, making him a backend RB2 in fantasy.
