5 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers Defense collapsed in the fourth quarter as the Niners suffered a brutal 20-31 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. The Niners played brilliantly for three and a half quarters, harassing MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes to four sacks and two interceptions. However, they couldn’t contain Mahomes in the final seven minutes as the Chiefs erupted for 21 unanswered points to capture the victory. Despite the loss, the Niners defense conclude a spectacular season as one of the NFL’s finest. Without too many potential free agent losses this offseason, the unit is setup well for an encore performance as a top five fantasy defense in 2020.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
