5 years agoStewart-Haas Racing driver Aric Almirola is making his 17th start at Daytona with this week’s Daytona 500. He has one win, three top-10 finishes at the track and placed 10th in this year’s Busch Clash. In the last five races at the track, Almirola has placed 11th or better, as well as finishing ahead of his starting position three times. Almirola runs best at superspeedways like DIS and will start fifth in this year’s Daytona 500. The driver of the No. 10 will finish in the top 10 based on his equipment and recent history. Almirola still starts close to the front, though, so he is recommended as a tournament play.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
