James Paxton To Start Throwing In 7-10 Days
5 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher James Paxton (back) is reportedly set to start throwing in the next seven to 10 days. Manager Aaron Boone was optimistic when discussing Paxton’s status, but Paxton’s best-case scenario still has the pitcher sidelined until May. Fantasy owners should be wary of relying on Paxton to pitch as soon as possible, though, as Yankees pitchers have suffered numerous setbacks over the past few seasons. Still, the news that Paxton remains on schedule and is set to throw soon should have fantasy owners optimistic about his health for now.
