BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 37% of leagues
ANALYSIS: We're bordering the 40% ownership rate with Josh Hart and for good reason. While only a top-65 player on the season, Hart's past month of play has been so good that he's ranking as a top-35 performer in the past 30 days. In that span, Hart has played 10 games--going back to Jan. 24--and that very exact date he had his best game of the season when he dropped 15 points, grabbed 13 boards, and paired that with 2-2-1 assists, steals, and blocks against Denver in just 27 minutes of playing time.
That might have marked Hart's peak this season, but ever since that game he's maintained quite a nice level of play that ultimately led to him starting three games before the All-Star break. In the last 10 games he's played, Hart has averaged 10.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and a steal while shooting 46.7% from the floor and hitting 1.9 triples per game and 2+ in seven of those 10 matches. The minutes have stabilized at around 28 per game and while the usage on offense is low (13.5%) he's making the most of his chances without barely committing turnovers.
The addition of Zion and comeback of Ingram after missing a few games before the break will probably keep impacting Hart's upside going forward but he's proved to be one of the best players around the league to come off the bench and he's still widely available through the waiver wire. Perhaps too available for what he provides.
