BALLER MOVE: Add In 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 40% of leagues
ANALYSIS: I think Maximilian Kleber's ownership is a little too high at least for standard, 12-team leagues. Other than that, though, it makes sense to find him at 40% in deeper tournaments and structures. Keep in mind this stat: Kleber is averaging 25 minutes per game on the season and 27 since the start of February (nine games played since Feb. 1). In those last nine games, he's put up numbers that 44 players are averaging on the season, and only one player (Aron Baynes) is reaching while playing under 27 minutes. That's Kleber for you.
The aforementioned span of nine games, all played this month, is watching Kleber average a 10-5-1 line while scoring at least a triple (1.5 3pm) per game. He's doing that in under 27 minutes of run, and only Baynes (on 22.3 mpg) and Ibaka (on 27.2) are close to those numbers in the same playing time. All of the remaining 42 players are averaging at least 28 minutes, and 31.6 mpg on average. Although the averages say so, Kleber is not a lock to reach the double-digits in any category any day but has the upside to get into the 10+ points and grab 5+ boards without much trouble.
While you won't have a lot of gaudy numbers coming from Kleber, he should be a good addition in deeper leagues considering he's one of the best three-point shooters among big men and the number of minutes he logs on average while playing next to a stud like Luka Doncic. Low ceiling, but contributions all across the board and in every statistical category.
