5 years agoThe Vegas Golden Knights scored five goals on Saturday night to defeat the Florida Panthers. Reilly Smith paced the offense with two goals. He now has 25 goals, which tied his career-high set in 2015-16 when he was a member of the Panthers. Smith is now one point away from a third straight season with at least 50 points. Paul Stastny’s two assists gave him four points in three games. Max Pacioretty found the back of the net for the third straight game and eighth time in eight games. He’s one goal away from 30 and one point away from 60. Tomas Nosek had a goal and an assist. Hard-hitting Will Carrier also had a goal and has now doubled his point total from last year at 18. Marc-Andre Fleury won his fourth straight game. Evgenii Dadonov scored his 25th goal of the season for Florida. Mike Hoffman had his second goal in as many games. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
