5 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez (shoulder) threw long toss and curveballs on Sunday. Gonzalez has made “big time progress” and has no doubts that he will be ready for Opening Day and is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Thursday. The lefty went 3-2 with a 3.50 ERA in 17 starts and two relief appearances last year with the Brewers. Gonzalez doesn’t offer strikeout potential and is best suited as a streamer in all formats for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
