Miguel Andujar Homers In First Spring Training Game
5 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Miguel Andujar crushed a home run in his first live game action since May of last season. Andujar lost nearly all of last season with a shoulder injury, but the 24-year-old is just a season removed from placing second in American League Rookie of the Year voting with a .297/.328/.527 slash line. Andujar started at third base on Sunday, but is battling Giovanny Urshela for the starting third base job with the Yankees and is expected to play left field and first base as well in 2020. Now fully healthy, Andujar’s bat should earn him at least semi-regular playing time, making him a potentially valuable pick at his 255 ADP.
