5 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker was hit by a pitch on his left wrist during Cactus League action on Sunday. Winker was removed from the game, although it appears to have been a precautionary move. He left the field early but he did tell reporters that "he's fine". The 26-year-old is expected to battle for playing time with rookie phenom Aristides Aquino during the spring with a platoon between the two a likely outcome. Winker slashed .269/.357/.473 with 16 homers in 113 games in 2019. He could be of interest in deeper, NL-only leagues if he's able to lock down semi-regular playing time.--Matt T - RotoBaller
