5 years agoThe Vegas Golden Knights jumped out to a 5-3 lead over the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night but had to settle for the victory on Shea Theodore’s overtime winner. William Karlsson was the offensive star with three goals, which were his first shots to find the back of the net since Dec. 13. Those points also helped him reach at least 40 points for the third straight season. Defenseman Alec Martinez, had a goal and an assist for the second time in three games with Vegas since coming over in a trade from the Kings. He had just one goal and eight points in 41 games with Los Angeles. Patrick Brown, recalled from the minors earlier in the day, had the second NHL goal of his career. Gage Quinney, a Nevada native, had his first point (an assist) in his second NHL game. Malcolm Subban allowed five goals for the second straight game. Adam Henrique and Nolan Ritchie each had two goals and two assists in the losing effort.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
