5 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (elbow) will throw a live bullpen session on Tuesday with hopes of returning to the mound in the next few days. McCullers missed all of last season recovering from Tommy John surgery and could help stabilize the back of the Astros rotation if he can return to full health. He was integral for the Astros en route to a 2017 World Series championship and went 10-6 with a 3.86 ERA in 2018. The right-hander should begin the fantasy season on waivers in shallow mixed leagues, but he could be a player to monitor if he can return to form.--Joey C - RotoBaller
