5 years agoNew York Islanders center Mathew Barzal collected two assists in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Rangers. Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored in his Islanders debut before Barzal helped Jordan Eberle and Brock Nelson get on the scoresheet late in the third. Barzal has now recorded two points in back-to-back outings and he is on a four-game point streak. It will be tough to keep it going with a pair of difficult matchups coming up against St. Louis and Boston, but Barzal was actually one of the heroes in this season's first meeting with the Blues when he finished a 3-2 overtime with a goal and an assist.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
