5 years agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko stopped 37 of 40 shots on goal to earn his 11th win of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime victory against the Canadiens. Demko improves to a record of 11-6-2 to go along with a 3.03 goals-against average and .906 save percentage through 21 appearances. With Jacob Markstrom expected to miss three to four weeks due to a knee injury, Demko will get the majority of starts for the Canucks going forward.
