5 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman hit his first home run of the spring in the third inning against the Cardinals on Wednesday. Bregman was all smiles rounding the bases but the Astros continue to be marked men around the league. The 25-year-old was promptly hit by a pitch in his next at-bat as seven Astros hitters have now been plunked this spring. Bregman is at the top of his game and is coming off a season that featured 80 extra-base hits, 112 runs batted in and an OPS of 1.015. It may be difficult to eclipse those totals in 2020 but Bregman remains a surefire first round selection in upcoming fantasy drafts--Joey C - RotoBaller
