5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo (oblique) is recovering well from the muscle tightness that saw him scratched from Tuesday's game, and is expected to return to the lineup on Friday versus the Los Angeles Angels. The Rangers said that they were being extremely cautious with the injury as Choo is a veteran, and they could afford to give him a couple of days rest this early in spring training. Expect Choo to start as the designated hitter or out in right field as 82.6 percent of his appearances have come at those positions over the last three seasons.--Euan Leith
