5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton will be looking to bounce back this season after a knee injury sidelined him for most of 2019. By the time the veteran could make it on the field, he played only 63 games and slashed an abysmal .215/.309/.416. But Upton claims he is healthy and, even better, is excited to not have the pressure of protecting Mike Trout in the lineup all by himself. "I'll be the guy nobody's worried about, which is fun," Upton told reporters in reference to the signing of Anthony Rendon in the offseason. Before last season, Upton posted three straight seasons of 30-plus home runs, 80-plus runs batted in and a slugging percentage of .460 or higher. Hitting those totals is no guarantee but could be a fantasy bargain in 2020 if he can stay healthy.--Joey C - RotoBaller
