Riley Greene Will Join Tigers Roster Friday
5 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene will be moved from minor league camp to the major league roster for Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Greene was the Tigers No. 3 prospect last year, per MLB pipeline. He is off to a blazing start this spring with two home runs and three walks in his five plate appearances. At age 19, it seems unlikely that Greene would play in the major leagues this season, but his impressive play may encourage the Tigers to consider calling him up this season. This move is an indication of that. For now, he should be rostered in dynasty leagues. His situation is definitely worth monitoring moving forward.
